I like to look the best I can. When I go out, I like to dress the best I can. I love make up and have always been a girly girl. There’s only so much a girl can do to look good though. We all have our insecurities – things we’d like to change. I’d like to change my nose. It’s crooked but I’m not in a rush to go under the knife. That’s why I’ve always been interested in non-surgical facial aesthetics. A lot of stars from TOWIE and shows like that get criticised for the work they’ve had done as a lot of younger people look up to them. Most of those stars actually haven’t had that much work done. In fact most have probably only had non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments. I don’t see what’s wrong with that?
My mother’s always been funny about that. She always told me that make up was fine but that I didn’t want to start putting gunk in my face and messing up the shape of my face. To be truthful, I disagree. Non surgical treatments are temporary. My lip fillers lasted almost a year but it was temporary. I’m not getting a surgeon to cut into my face. I think that would be a lot worse. The way I see it is that if you’re insecure about something and you can change it without putting your health or life at risk – then do it.
Lip Fillers – The New Norm
Lip Fillers have become as common as make up these days. They’re easily accessible and everyone I know is having them. I had to reassure my mother that I was only having safe filler by going to a proper cosmetic clinic. That’s why I went to Bamboo Aesthetics. I had a friend who went there, who was in a beauty pageant and her lips looked stunning. I suppose with cheaper places there’s always the risk of not knowing what is being injected into your lips – that’s why I chose Bamboo. I wanted somewhere reasonably priced with good quality filler.
I thought bigger the better. I love big lips. I love Kylie Jenner. My mother might not agree but bigger lips make me feel confident and more attractive. The lads in the office like them anyway haha! I guess you can’t please everyone but my mother is just happy that I’m not going under the knife. I’m thankful for non-invasive treatments as I know that if they weren’t around, a lot more people, especially younger people, would be going under the knife and that’s scary. Could you imagine so many young people wanting to see a plastic surgeon!
The Bigger The Better
I loved my lip fillers – I thought they were the perfect Christmas present. What am I having this year? I’m having a Thread Lift. One of the receptionists at Bamboo had had one done and I loved how amazing her skin looked. I want to look that good!
